Once the completed agreement form and deposit are received, 70-90% of the content will need to be sent to Antsy Ant (via your client portal) to get started. If you do not have your domain and hosting set up, Antsy Ant can help walk you through the setup process.

The website content is the text, photos, videos, testimonials, contact information, social media links, resource or affiliate links, and any other industry-related materials you would like showcased on the website to represent your business to connect to your target audience.
For the homepage, you will want to share the text of what you do, where you are located, or the service area, and what makes your business different from your competition.
For the about page, you can list experience, mission statement, core values, founder/employee bios, or history along with share headshots, staff photos, location video or photos, or any media that shares what your business is about.
For the service or product page, you will want to note the description, benefits along with any applicable media (photos, video, links, pdf files).

Antsy Ant will help with the layout and formatting of your text, images and videos. Keeping to proven web design and marketing standards, Antsy Ant will help to set up the site content to be user and search engine friendly. Antsy Ant offers guidance and direction of what content topics would be relevant for your industry and to best connect to your target audience. The text you supply does not have to be polished or perfect, Antsy Ant understands that not everyone is a writer.

Antsy Ant will send you an email with login information to access the client portal that will allow you to upload your content files (images, text files, etc).

Yes, all websites designed by Antsy Ant are responsive which means they are desktop, mobile, and tablet friendly. The website will adapt to the size of the screen it is being viewed on.

You own your website files. Antsy Ant Web Design is hired to create the website on your hosting account which links to your domain name (which you pay for directly to the vendor) and the website files are owned by your business. Antsy Ant does not have a copy of the site, you have the files solely on your hosting account. Antsy Ant does recommend you back up your website or confirm that your hosting company does a full back up, for security purposes.

On average, the 1-Page and Standard Website Design packages take 10-15 business days to complete once the content is provided with consistent communication between the client and Antsy Ant. These packages allow for up to two rounds of edits once the draft is completed and any further edits can be completed during the complimentary training call, by the client independently or by Antsy Ant via maintenance services.
The informational and e-commerce Premium and Premium Plus Website Design Packages are complete on average 30-60 days once the content is provided with consistent communication. The packages allow for up to 4 rounds of edits once the draft is completed and any further edits can be completed during complimentary training call, by the client independently or by Antsy Ant via maintenance services.

There is no additional fee to pay to Antsy Ant once the site design project is complete. You will pay your domain and hosting provider directly to keep the website name and hosting account active. You can make edits and perform maintenance to the website on your own, if you choose, or you can opt to sign up for a website maintenance/security plan with Antsy Ant, but it is not required.

All websites designed by Antsy Ant include the necessary title tags, image tags/optimization, and adhere to the search engine standards.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is always changing and is different for each industry based on the competition for the business keywords that are searched. The website, social media, web presence with relevant links, and other factors all contribute to how well your website ranks over your competition. On average a new website takes 3-6 months to rank in the search engines. Contact Antsy Ant for help with creating a marketing strategy to help your SEO efforts.

Each website design package includes a complimentary 1-hour phone training session to teach you how to edit your custom-built website. If you opt to outsource the site editing, Antsy Ant can make the edits for you with either a one-time maintenance fee or with a monthly maintenance package.

All Antsy Ant website design packages include the setup and linking to Google Analytics (a free tracking service from Google). Antsy Ant will also set up a weekly website traffic tracking report in your Google account and schedule an email to send you a PDF file of how many visitors you have had to the website, how many pages did they visit and how long did they stay on your website as well as a ton more data.

Antsy Ant understands that priorities can change and emergencies can arise. The 1-Page and Standard Website Design Packages allow for up to 90 days to be completed and go live and the Premium and Premium+ Website Design Packages allow for a maximum of 180 days to be completed and go live. If the allotted package time is exceeded, a monthly fee of $75 is applied for each month to extend the package until the project is completed and goes live.

No, Antsy Ant Web Design does not resell domain and hosting services. Antsy Ant believes each client should own their own domain and hosting so that if for any reason they change direction, that they have full accessibility to their domain and site on the hosting account.
Antsy Ant’s preferred domain and hosting provider is IONOS. If you do not have your domain and hosting set up, Antsy Ant can walk you through the set up process with IONOS as well as set up your email accounts. If you already have an account set up with an outside vendor the account login information will need to be supplied to set up the website files.
